The church was organized in
1903. After brothers James T. Means and William Burney Means
donated land to the congregation, the first church building was constructed
in 1904. The church is the second-oldest structure in Ida.
The parsonage was built two years later. A fellowship hall and kitchen
were later built. A new piano and full-size organ were also acquired
by the church.
The church facilities were later
completely renovated, including the addition of a steeple. |
