In 1990, the Shreveport District Board of Missions bought 5.2 acres on which to start a new church south of Bossier City.  Rev. Gregory R. Davis was appointed to start the new church and began organizational meetings on August 6, 1990 at the Riverview Nursing Home.  The group chose the name Fellowship for the new church.
The first service was held December 2, 1990 at the girls’ gym of Parkway High School.  The present church was later built at the property on Barksdale Blvd.
How to Get There:
Heading south on Hwy 71 out of Bossier City, Turn right on Medical Drive.  The church will be on your left.  Heading east on Jimmy Davis Hwy (511) from Shreveport, cross the river and turn left on Medical Drive.  The church will be around the curve on your right.
