1904 
       The church was organized in 1904 by Rev. Charles Bly.  The first Board of Trustees consisted of Julian M. Collins, Dr. J.N. Hoad, and Sam M. Collins.  
      The second church was built in 1944 under the leadership of Rev. F.L. Hearne.  Though it was replaced by the present church structure in 1980, the second church building still stands.
      The third church held its first service on Easter Sunday 1980 under the leadership of Rev. William B. Shaw.      
How to Get There:
    Take exit  101 from I-20, head south on Hwy 151, and then turn right onto Hwy 144 towards Eros.  When you get to Hwy 34 (2nd St.) just north of Eros, turn right and the church will be on the left after about 1/3 mile (just after Hwy 148 on the left).  Or head north on Hwy 34 from Chatham and the church is 1.2 miles past the Hwy 148 intersection on your left.
