The parsonage was built under the leadership of Rev. Henry Bowdon, Jr.  Most of the labor was contributed by church members.  Additional property was donated tot he church by Dorothy W. Carter.  In 1974-75, Rev. Robert Rowland led the church in the construction of classrooms, an office, a fellowship hall, and a kitchen.  A new sanctuary and four rooms were built in the mid 1980s, with the dedication service on April 20, 1986 led by Bishop Walter Underwood and pastor Glynn Foreman.
On June 26, 1994, the Community Center was consecrated.  Besides being used for church activities, it is also a community outreach center.  Stained glass windows were added to the sanctuary in January of 1993.  The parking lot was paved and a new church sign put up in the fall of 1995.
