| The church was organized
as Mallalieu Methodist Episcopal Church, South on February 14, 1927.
It was named after Louisiana bishop W.F. Mallalieu. A building was
completed by January 1929 under the leadership of Rev. P.N. Jones.
It was used as a school during the week, and for church services on Sunday.
In the summertime, youth in the south Jennings area used the building for
recreation. |
