 1882
      The church was organized in 1882.  It was rebuilt in 1892.  It sits on a hill facing Bayou Boeuf.  Led by Rev. A.G. Davis, the first church officers were A. Robinson and H. Tippet.   The church, one of the oldest in Cheneyville, was remodeled in 1924.  Plumbing was added in the late 1960s.  New pews were installed in the 1970s.  During remodeling in the 1990s, a kitchen was added.   
      Communion Sunday is each second Sunday, while Youth Sundays are the fourth Sundays.
How to Get There:
      Take exit 56 from I-49 and head into Cheneyville on Hwy 181.  Turn right (south) on Hwy 71 (Front St.).  After 4 blocks, turn left on Klock St.  After 0.4 miles, turn left on Boeuf Ave.  The church is on the left after a quarter mile.
