| The first church
was built in 1903. It was replaced by the current edifice, built in 1957.
The pastor in 1957 was Rev. J.C. Skinner. Melvin Hall was the chairman of
the church board at that time. The building committee consisted of John
Nelms, J.H. Hughes, E.C. Erwin, Melvin Hall, and T.L. Dean. |

Take Hwy 71 to Montgomery. In town, turn SW onto Caddo St. and cross
the RR tracks. The church is on the right, 5 blocks ahead. |
