| The St. Luke's church was remodeled
in 1901 under the leadership of Rev. A.B. Harris. Trustees at that

Morris, L. Cartwright, and Ed. Marshall. |

How to Get There:
Head north on Hwy 1 out of Plaquemine. At Bayou Goula, you'll get
to a caution light, with a cemetery at the SE corner of the intersection.
Take a left here (onto Herman Brown Jr. St.). Go to the end of the
street, where it runs into the river road. The church will be on
the left at the corner. |
