| Preaching began in the area
in 1888. The people of the Olivier community built a church of Love,
Spiritual Guidance, and Blessing. Their first pastor was Rev. Stephen
Tillman. Five years later, the Mt. Zion Methodist Church was re-erected.
This church was replaced in 1911 when a new building was erected under
the leadership of Rev. A.J. Smith. That church still stands today. |

After several miles, you will see the church on your left. |
